WILLARD J. DUCHOW

Willard J. Duchow, age 86, of 431 Madison St. Reedsville, died on Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. He was born on June 27, 1921, in Collins, son of the late Adolph and Katherine (Stelenpohl) Duchow. On June 16, 1948, he married Sylvia Roeseler at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. He farmed in the town of Eaton until his retirement. He then lived on Lax Chapel Road in Kiel until moving to the Reedsville Manor in 2005.

He was a life long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins and was a landowner of the ROCKEA Hunting Club. Willard loved to play cards and going to auctions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Adolph (Eleanor) Duchow, Harvey Duchow, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Gustav Roeseler.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. The Rev. Robert Hankwitz will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home of Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
