Isabel ("Issy") Annan, 95, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2012, in Spokane, Washington. Born in Frederick, Maryland, she lived in Millville for 30 years. Issy spent the last seven years in Spokane, the hometown of her son Ned and his wife Felicia. Ned's brother and sisters are so very grateful to them for the love and support they gave Issy throughout her stay there. Issy was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Edgar ("Bud"). She is the beloved mother of Mike, Ned, Debbie, Judi, and Jennifer. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Pauline Stup and many nieces and nephews. Issy was known for her great sense of humor, and she was a lively storyteller with a twinkle in her eye. In Millville, Issy and Bud owned B&I Antiques, and they loved working at the flea markets. In her retirement, she honed her skills as an expert blackjack player in Atlantic City. Her children lovingly referred to her as the gambling granny. She shared her skill and love of the game with her beloved grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Issy's viewing and funeral service Saturday , August 18, 2012 at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday with the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The burial service will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.
