Maureen A. (Brown) Remondini, of Hanover, died June 21, 2013. Maureen grew up in Weymouth and has lived in Hanover for over 40 years. She graduated from the Gordon House School of Nursing in 1957 and went on to work as an RN for the Quincy City Hospital for many years. As an avid gardner, Maureen was a member of the Walnut Hill Garden Club and could often be found planting at various islands throughout the town. She was a member of the Hanover Bowling League and an active parishioner of St. Marys Church. Maureen was blessed with wonderful family and friends, especially the 8 Club girls that have been lifelong friends, gathering on Wednesdays and raising their families together. She will be sadly missed. Beloved wife of 48 years to Ronald E. Remondini of Hanover. Devoted mother of Mauryanne Remondini of Stoughton, Julie Otero and her husband Joseph of Norwell and Carey Novick and her husband Stephen of Quincy. Cherished Nana of Alexander, Matthew, Spencer and Stephen. Loving sister of the late Robert Brown Jr. and Edmund Brown. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 9 a.m. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Maureen may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
