Phoebe Parsons was the daughter of Simeon Parsons and Lucretia Snow. She married Zephaniah Washburn and they came to Iowa about 1840. They were one of the early settlers.

This stone is badly eroded and very difficult to decipher, thanks to Lynn McCleary of Muscatine Gen Society for clarifying information, husband is Zephaniah Washburn, Phebe was born in 1800 in NY
