Willliam H. Bramlage, 85, Wymore, Nebraska
formerly of Marysville, Kansas died, Thursday
August 16, 2001 at a Marysville hospital.
He was born January 11, 1916 in Frankfort,
Kansas the son of Henry and Mary (Goeckel)
Bramlage. He moved to a farm southwest of
Hanover, Kansas and attended Sunnyside
Country School. Beginning in 1951, he
farmed northeast of Frankfort, until retiring
and moving to Marysville, Kansas in 1981
Preceding him in death were two sisters, and
infant Rose and Mary, a brother Bernard.
Survivors include three sons, William H.
Bramlage Jr. of the home, Richard E. Bram-
lage, Altadena, California, and Charles L.
Bramlage, Troy; three brothers, Gilbert Bram-
lage and Norbert Bramlage, both of Frankfort
and Francis Bramlage, Topeka, Kansas; a
sister, Irene Sandmann, Marysville, Kansas;
and two grandchildren.
Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday,
August 20, 2001 at St Gregory's Catholic
Church in Marysville, Kansas with Reverend
Dennis Schmitz and Reverend Dennis Hotovy
Officiating.
Providing the music was Bob Welch, organist
and the church choir.
Pallbearers were Andrew Bramlage, Don
Bramlage, David Kongs, Steve Cohorst, Ron
Bramlage, and Jim Sandmann.
Burial was in St. Gregory Cemetery,
Marysville, Kansas.
