A graveside service for Ethel Marie Henry McCoy is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. McCoy passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center at the age of 98.
Ethel was born May 7, 1915 in Stevenville, Mont., the daughter of Edward and Ella (Cannon) Haacke.
In 1934, she married Glenn Henry. Ethel had worked for many national circuses performing aerial acrobatics and juggling, traveling all over the United States and Canada. Mrs. McCoy worked for the SNAP program and attended Southside Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother.
Survivors of Ethel Marie Henry McCoy include sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Zoe Henry of Gainesville and Jimmy and Darlene Henry of Austin, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Lucas Atayde of Mexico City; daughter, Patricia King of Gainesville; grandchildren and spouses Mike and Monica King of Dallas, Steve Woods of Gainesville, Kim and Kevin Hellinger of Gainesville, Billy Henry, David Henry, James and Zae Henry of Gainesville, and Michael Henry of Denison and Heather Izzo of Gainesville; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands; three sisters; and three brothers.
