Retired Tiffin Police Officer
Paul E. Ruhlen, 60, 4497 S. SR 53, died at 11:19 am Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996, in St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, where he had been a patient for several days. He was born Aug. 28, 1935, in Tiffin to Carl and Leona (Tracewell) Ruhlen. His father survives in Naples, Fla. On Oct. 11, 1966, in the First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, he married Doris Myers and she also survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Deanna) Depinet of Bascom; Deborah and Allison Ruhlen, both at home; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Vern (Jan) Hoskingson of Washington, Iowa. His mother, an infant son and a brother William Ruhlen, are deceased. Mr. Ruhlen, a retired City of Tiffin police officer, was a 1953 graduate of Columbian High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years.
