Montague Gerald F. Nash, age 68, of Montague went home to see Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on June 20, 2013, at his home, surrounded by loving family.

He was born April 8, 1944, in Fremont, to Harry and Olive (Wagner) Nash. On April 10, 1970, he married the former Patricia Ann Woods. She survives.

Gerry retired as an insurance agent for White Lake Agency in 2011. He was a devoted and faithful member of Evangelical Covenant Church of Whitehall. Gerry loved his God, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his entire family, including his best friend, Daisy Mae. He cherished his travel to the Upper Peninsula, truly enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing, and was a well-respected businessman and church member in his White Lake community.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Barbara (Tim) Miller and Vonda (Mike) Sillman; a son, Jeffrey (Jackie) Nash; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Margaret (Elver "Bud") Heiss; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Crawford, and a brother, Harry Nash.

Memorial Service will be held at Evangelical Covenant Church of Whitehall, 909 S. Warner St., Whitehall, with the Rev. Robert Wood and Pastor Jerry Collins officiating.
