Son of Abel and Anna Schwartz, of Ottawa.

He was critically injured when his R.C.A.F. training plane crashed east of Kemptville, Ontario. He died in hospital.

Commemorated on Page 211 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance housed in the Peace Tower of the Canadian Parliament Buildings, Memorial Chamber.
