Gracie Fox Brandenburg of Beattyville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday December 27, 2011, at the Lee County Care & Rehab. due to a long illness. She was born July 8, 1931, on Blaines Branch in Beattyville, Kentucky and was 80 years old.

Gracie was preceded in death by the late Cephus Fox.

She is survived by two sisters, Carrie Brandenburg and Alvis Roach, Both of Beattyville; four sons, Dorman Fox and wife Joyce of Dandridge, Tennessee, Darrell Fox and wife Martha of Beattyville, Danny (Tucker) Fox and wife Leona of Beattyville, Cephus Ray Fox of Beattyville; two daughters, Cathy Cole and husband Randy, Melissa Deaton and husband Matthew all of Beattyville. She had 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren: and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 1 p.m. with burial in the Couch-Brandenburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, from 6 to 9 p.m.
