She went by her middle name Catherine. Her granddau. Emma Higgs in her memoirs said she lived in Broadway with her son Will and when she was sick and dying her mother Anna went to live with her to take care of her. From Minnie L. Nichols notes on the family of Linhoss (1938): The family did not all come to this country at the same time. I think there were four immigrations. Henry was the first one to come. The others followed later. There were three brothers and one sister in our immediate family: Henry Linhoss, Philip Linhoss, Frederick Linhoss and Catherine Linhoss Baugh. Per Emma, "When very small, I remember my Grandmother's (Anna C. Linhoss Baugh) visit to me. She wore a little white cap. Her brother, Uncle Henry Linhoss, who lived in Dayton came to visit. He took me on his lap and told me exciting experiences of the boat trip to America. They came in a sail boat and this was blown backward and forward over the ocean for six weeks. My mother (Anna D. Emma Higgs in her memoirs said she lived in Broadway with her son Will and when she was sick and dying her mother Anna went to live with her to take care of her. From Minnie L. Nichols notes on the family of Linhoss (1938): The family did not all come to this country at the same time. I think there were four immigrations. Henry was the first one to come. The others followed later. There were three brothers and one sister in our immediate family: Henry Linhoss, Philip Linhoss, Frederick Linhoss and Catherine Linhoss Baugh. Per Emma, "When very small, I remember my Grandmother's (Anna C. Linhoss Baugh) visit to me. She wore a little white cap. Her brother, Uncle Henry Linhoss, who lived in Dayton came to visit.
