Son of Thomas & Jesse Katherine Cook Andrews.

Stanley served as a Corporal on B-24D #41-1117, 66th Bomber Squadron, 44th Bomber Group, Barksdale Field, Louisiana, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Genesee County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on December 27, 1941 in Rochester, New York. He was noted as being employed in the fabrication of metal products and also as Single, without dependents.

Stanley died in the "Line Of Duty" when his B-24 crashed after takeoff, during severe weather, from Barksdale Field, while departing for an anti-submarine patrol mission over the Gulf of Mexico during the war.
