Harold was born in Ava, Missouri to M.C. and Gertie Wiseman. He lived the majority of his life in Notus and Nampa, Idaho. Harold was a man of honor, integrity, and generosity. His Christian faith was important to him. A retired Army Lt. Col., Harold previously served as president of the Idaho National Guard Association, chairman of the Mercy Medical Center board of directors, chairman of the Nampa Golf Course Commission, president of St. Paul's Church parish council, and past board member of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Snake River Stampede, and Salvation Army. Harold was the former president and general manager of Honstead Motor Company in Nampa.
Harold passed away at home, surrounded by his family who loved him so much. Harold is survived by his daughter, Ann Hawley, son-in-law, Greg Hawley, grand-daughters, Kate Hansen (Trevor) and Emma Hawley, great-grandson, Elias Hansen, sister, Betty Bengeyfield (Bill), brothers, Claude Wiseman (Betty) and Clifford Wiseman (Neta), brother-in-law, Dick Roberts, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Pilar, sister, Barbara Roberts, and his parents.
Harold requested no formal funeral service. Donations may be made to Providence Hospice (503) 215-2273.
