MARILYN D. MAYHUGH
Marilyn Dolores Mayhugh, 71, Independence, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Mayhugh was born in Kansas City and was a lifelong Jackson County area resident. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her husband of 47 years, Anthony Mayhugh, died on March 1, 1999.
Her survivors include two sons, James E. Mayhugh, Raytown, and John A. Mayhugh, Independence; one daughter, Debra M. Vreeland, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; fours sisters, Janet Haeberle, Louisburg, Kan., Kay Atwell, Shawnee, Kan., Gloria Schelling, Wendall, Idaho, and Lula Wisk, Twin Falls, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the New Salem Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
