JACKIE RODNEY "JACK" WALLACE, age 59, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at his home near East Prairie.

Born March 17, 1954, at Sikeston, Missouri, to the late Miles A. and Violet Johnson Wallace, he had lived in Mississippi County his entire life and was a 1973 graduate of Charleston High School. He was a farmer and owner of Wallace Construction and Irrigation Services and was a member of the Anniston Christian Church.

On June 2, 1973, he married Jackie Tanksley, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two sons, Chad Wallace and his wife Mindy of East Prairie and Corey Wallace and his former spouse, Denice Cole of Pacific, MO; three brothers and two sisters in law, David Wallace of Charleston; Milus and Wanda Wallace of Dorena and Anthony and Lavonda Wallace of Anniston; two sisters and brothers in law, Geneva and Donald Ray Hastings of Sikeston and Glenda and Barry Horton of Commerce, MO; six grandchildren, Katie Wallace, Sam Wallace, Cameron Wallace, Colton Wallace, Brooklyn Wallace and Cash Wallace.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and brother in law, Virginia and Bill Greenwood.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Martin Lucas of East Prairie, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Wallace, Sam Wallace, Cameron Wallace, Michael Tanksley, Milus Wallace, David Achter, Richard Kelley and Kenny McClendon.
