Mary M. Bauer, 83, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, February 2nd, in the Royal Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Olathe. Mrs. Bauer was a lifelong Kansas City area resident. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Olathe, Kansas.

She was survived by six sons, Frank J. Bauer of Media, Pa., Edward E. Bauer of Kansas City, Kan., William J. Bauer of Overland Park, Joseph J. Bauer of Leavenworth, Thomas F. Bauer of Hartland, Mich., and Robert R. Bauer of Olathe; two daughters, Mary M. Dorsey of Olathe, and Kathleen M. Sherfey of Shawnee; three sisters, Regina Cop, Helen Alieksaites and Angeline Yadrich of Kansas City, Kan.; 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Friends called on Monday evening at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, where the Rosary was said later that night. Services were held on Tuesday morning at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Olathe. Burial followed in St. John's Cemetery in Lenexa.
