Carol Paxton
Portsmouth - Carol G. Paxton, 75, passed away on Tuesday Jan. 17, 2012. She was a native of Freemont, N.C., a Baptist and formerly employed at Flowers from Holland.
Carol was the daughter of the late Mary and Jesse Holland. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Sadauskas and her brother, Jesse Holland.
Carol is survived by her husband, Troy Paxton; daughter, Theresa Downs and husband, Arthur; son, Bruce Sadauskas and his wife, Melloney; sister, Connie Roberts and husband, Jack; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel with burial to follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lovingfuneralhome.com
