Benita Larae "Bonnie" Garner Morris, 72, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away June 21, 2013, at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of her family and Encompass Home Health and Hospice.
Bonnie was born July 3, 1940, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Chester Frank Garner and Elma Casper Garner. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and was a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls.
She married Carroll L. Cutler November 6, 1956, and they had four children, Teresa, Cindy, John, and Camille. They spent 16 years together before they divorced.
On June 1, 1974, she married Dewey Tom Morris in Idaho Falls. Bonnie was a homemaker and mother who also worked as a retail clerk and as a well driller's assistant. Dewey passed away December 12, 2003.
Bonnie was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she enjoyed Primary as a child and appreciated her visiting teachers over the years.
Bonnie enjoyed working in her yard, shopping vintage and antiques stores, restoring furniture, decorating her home, and crocheting blankets and gifts for her family. She loved car rides with Dewey and seeing the sights (whether up in the hills or on the highways), shooting guns, and fishing on the creek. She especially loved watching her grandkids, spending time with them and supporting their activities. In later years she enjoyed the computer, where she'd travel the world, seeing the sights. She enjoyed keeping up with family activities online by following her grandkids on Facebook.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery.
