Shane Alan Wilson, age 27, of Faribault, died on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Faribault, with the Reverend Craig Breimhorst officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service.
Shane Alan, the son of Steven Dale and Cindy Jean (Tramel) Wilson , was born on March 13, 1986 in St. Paul. Shane spent most of his life growing up in Faribault, MN. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, especially his children. Shane had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, skateboarding and long walks at the Nature Center with family. Shane worked at Faribault Foods as a forklift operator.
Shane was free spirited and well liked by many. Shane was engaged and planning a wedding for July 4, 2013 in St. Louis, MO under the Gateway Arch. Shane also had a passion for music and long drives with his family.
He is survived by his fiancée, LaLonnie Moorman of Faribault; two children at home, Levin and Micah Wilson; his mother, Cindy Wilson of Faribault; maternal grandparents, Carol and Joe Zick of Sun City, AZ and William Blaine Tramel of Apache Junction, AZ and Montgomery; one brother, Justin Wilson of Owatonna; one half brother, Damon (and Shawn) Wilson of Richmond Hill, GA; and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2008; one half brother, Brett Wilson in 1990; and paternal grandparents, Elmer and Evelyn Wilson.
