Walter H. Robinson, 53, of 5022 Rome-Taberg Road, died Friday in the Rome Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Chateaugey, N. Y., son of Frank and Mabel Chappell Robinson. He attended local schools and in 1940 married Henrieta Underwood in Chateaugey. She died in 1966. Mr. Robinson married Florence Smith Stedman in 1968 in Rome. He had lived in Rome for 35 years coming here from Chateaugey. He was employed by Charles Walters Used Cars for several years, and before that the General Cable Corporation. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rome. He leaves his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Catherine) Russell of Rome, and a son, Ronald J. Reynolds of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Mildred) Gibbs of Schenectady and Mrs. Alex (Grace) Norman of Syracuse; four brothers, Roy R. of Phoenix, N.Y., Edward F. of Schenectady, Floyd C. of Syracuse and Gerald W. of Selphi Falls, N.Y. Burial in Mt Pleasant Cemetery
