Gene "Larry" Pruitt, 64 year old Claremore, Oklahoma resident, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his home.
Larry was born June 29, 1948 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ernest Renford Pruitt and Bonnie Mae (Wilburn) Pruitt.
Larry was a welder by profession and was a member of Bethel Worship Center in Tulsa.
Larry was united in marriage to Thelma "Gail" Smith on May 15, 1992 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
She preceded him in death on November 14, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Larry is survived by four sons, Randy Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, Ryan Pruitt and Charles Keith and wife, Jodi; two sisters, Beulah Mae Haddock and Loreece Ann Relly; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Bethel Worship Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Bill Storie will officiate. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery, Coweta, Oklahoma.
