Rose Lynette McCullough, formerly of Bloomdale, age 89, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Mrs. McCullough was born on July 14, 1920 to Ralph and Reva (Ritchey) Perkey, Bloomdale, Ohio. She attended Bloomdale schools and graduated from Bowling Green University. On March 29, 1942, she married Elmer (Mac) McCullough in Urbana, Illinois where he was stationed with the Army Air Corps. She traveled with her husband throughout the war; then returned to Bloomdale, where she taught school. After retirement, Mrs. McCullough and her husband spent the winters in the Phoenix, Arizona area. They recently moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Mrs. McCullough is survived by her husband, Elmer, of 67 years; sisters, Betty Hyatt of Wilmington, Ohio and Cheryl Lanning of Drummond Island, Michigan; daughters, Carol Templeman and her husband, Jim, of Berea, Ohio and Ann McCullough of Las Cruces, New Mexico; grandsons, Michael Templeman, and his wife, Amy of Washington, DC and Christopher Templeman of Boston, Massachusetts.
A memorial service for Mrs. McCullough will be held on Saturday, August 29, at 11 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church of Bloomdale.
