Anton Martichuski, 82, of 2615 N. 22nd St., died thursday in a Superior hospital. He was born in Poland and formerly resided in Denham before coming to Superior seven years ago. Mr. Martichuski was a retired Soo Line Railroad section foreman with 43 years of service. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and St. Isadore Parish in Sturgeon Lake, Minn. Surviving are his wife, Mary; seven sons, Frank, Martin, John and Bernard, Detroit; Andrew, Superior, and Frederick and Leo, Minneapolis; five daughters Mrs. James Moyers, Duluth; Mrs. Joseph Kosloski, Denham; Mrs. Helen Brown, Mahtowa, Minn.; Miss Joseph Martichuski and Mrs. Marymond Kiminski, Superior; a brother, Stanley Matuseski, Duluth; a sister, Mrs. Martha Stein, Carlton; 33 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

[There were six daughters living, not five. Anton's daughter Irene was mistakenly left off the list. She was living in Detroit, Michigan. The seventh, Alice, died in 1948.]
