He was born on August 3, 1929 to Bennie Marks and Robert Austin Hudson in Nacogdoches, Texas.
He has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1952. Charles was an operator foreman at Gulf Oil and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Groves. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Mount Enterprise, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Letha Cude and Joy Neuman; a son, Jimmy Hudson, and a granddaughter, Magnolia Blakeman.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Melissa Waller; his sons, Craig Hudson, Charles Richard Hudson, Henry Hudson; nine grandchildren; along with several great grandchildren as well as two nieces.
