BRIGHAM CITY - Emily Phelina Lawrence Severns Dunn, 95, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
She was born on August 27, 1917 to Spicer Lawrence and Mable Tyler in Volinia Township, Michigan.
Emily married Glenn B. Severns on July 8, 1943. He passed away on April 28, 1979. Emily then married Oliver M. Dunn on December 20, 1982. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on May 14, 1985. He passed away on December 10, 2011.
Emily was baptized into the LDS church on May 6, 1984. She and Oliver served a mission in South Dakota Ogala Indian Reservation.
She worked for Brigham City Corp., JC Penney's and Brigham City Hospital.
She is survived by her step children, Donald Dunn; Stephen Kwan; Arlene Oyler; Gerald (Carolyn) Dunn; Jenann (Ross) Bennett; 8 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.
The family sends a special thanks to Harmony Health, Hospice of Utah and Peach Tree Place Assisted Living of West Haven.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Brigham City Cemetery, 495 East 500 South.
A viewing will be held at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
