Camden-Walter D. Hendrickson 78, of Taberg-Forence Road, Camden passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born June 22, 1934 in Cuba, NY a son of Jaspere and Florence Bennett Hendrickson.
Walt was married to Ann Wafer on October 16, 1971 in Camden. He worked in the logging industry for many years and retired from Harden Furniture, Inc. after twenty years. Walt enjoyed wood cutting and woodcarving.
Surviving besides his wife Ann are his children Tom and Mary Hendrickson of Vienna, June and Ed Fogelman of Georgia, Paul Mahle of Michigan, Robert and Lisa Mahle of Camden, Bernie and Janice Mahle of Camden, Kim and Loretta Mahle of Sylvan Beach, Robert and Diane Wiediger of Camden, Steve and Patti Dupont of Colorado, Douglas and Marjorie Mahle of Camden and Matthew and Karen McCargar of Mexico; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two sisters Mary Chapman and Clara Darling and several nieces and nephews. Walt was predeceased by a son, Paul Hendrickson, two infant daughters, two brothers and three sisters.
The family would like to acknowledge and a special thanks to four of the grandsons Michael Mahle, Greg Hendrickson, Dylan Wiediger and Austin Hendrickson for their help and care of their grandfather.
Funeral Services will be held 10 am Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
