Gabriel David Black, 30 of Hull, GA died June 19, 2013. Born in Athens on September 25, 1982 Gabriel was the son of David and Rhonda Black. He served in the US Army during the Iraqi War before being honorably discharged, and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Hoyt Black and Bennie Dove.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother: Nathaniel Black and two sisters: Hannah and Caitlyn Black, and grandmothers: Betty Black, and Roberta Dove and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be CSM Grover M. King, U.S. Army, Ret. SPC Andrew King, Lee Dove, Bryan Dove, Dane Gaskins and Will Ryder.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Fund.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
