Funeral services for Terrence Lee Moore, Sr., 57, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Rev. H.B. Nash, Sr. and Eulogist Rev. Leon Gossett, Sr.
Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery with Charles Perry, Sandy Shell, Lester Henley, David Cooper, David Gordon, and Ken Taylor serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Vic Johnson, Andre Johnson, Junior Johnson, Vincent Johnson, Jr., Lewis Harrison, Kelvin Harrison, and Ryan Harrison.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Moore passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
Terrence Lee Moore was born into this world to the parentage of Ozziephine Harrison Moore and Fred Joe Moore November 18, 1955 in Hopkins County.
He was educated in the Hopkins County School District. He was a part of the graduating class of 1974.
Terry Lee professed a hope in Christ at an early age and accepted him as his personal savior and a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church. Terry worked at Morning Star (Saputo Cheese) for 30 years. He was also an original Knight Mc member.
Terry united in matrimony to Alice Nash on July 2, 1976, and to his union three children born; Terrence Lee Jr., Maurra, and Angel. He has two daughters Deanita McCall (Ski) and Chaliyah Moore.
Terry Lee leaves to cherish his memories his wife Alice, his children, one sister; Freddie M. Moore Johnson (Cartritus), grandchildren, Tatyana Moore, Caleb and Seth McCall, Kaleb and Kalvon Dabbs, nieces, Dametra Johnson, Tkea, Kiara, LaToya, Kim, and Kimora Johnson, nephews, Andre, Vic, Junior, Vincent Sr., Vincent Jr., Tadarius Johnson, Kelvin, Ryan, and Lewis Harrison, and Nelson Dent. A very special godson Bobby Daryl Harrison, and all of his first cousins; Rita, Carmalita, Jackie, Roberta, Linda, William, Walter, Kenneth, Eddie, Michael, Kerry, Van, the lates.
Preceded in death by, Bobby Joe, Cynthia, Brenda, and Joseph Corner Harrison.
