Melvin R. Loudermilk, 78, of Speedwell, died on Thursday, Oct. 25, at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a retired production supervisor at General Motors and a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by wife Jewell Loudermilk of Speedwell; son Edward Hill of Lexington, Ky.; six grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Marvin, Clayton, Clarence and James Loudermilk; sisters Glenna Smith, Dean,and Wanda Loudermilk.
Funeral services were on Monday, Oct. 29, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in LaFollette with President Russell Figueira and President Jerry Schaffer officiating. Interment was in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette is in charge of arrangements.
