Perlena H. Rexroat, 86, of Rockford died at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1914, in Russell Springs, Ky., daughter of William and Magnolia Walters Foley. Rockford resident since 1947, coming from Cincinnati, Ohio. Worked as an inspector for pack and set-up at National Lock Co. from 1952 to 1977. Member of the UAW Retirees of National Lock Co.
Survivors include her son, Orville (Alice) Rexroat of Wauwatosa, Wis., daughters Thelma (Arthur) Hildebrand and Betty (David) Lundin, both of Rockford; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; nine brothers; three sisters; and a daughter, Donna Smith Rexroat, on Jan. 15, 2000
Services at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapels Ltd., East Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford, with the Rev. William Richard Kerr of Riverside Community Church officiating. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation from noon to service time Monday. Memorials to American Diabetes Association and American Cancer Fund.
