Nancy Fitts, 82, of Dansville, was called home December 13, 2012. Nancy was a devoted wife, loving mother and a cherished friend. A full time homemaker and stay at home mom, Nancy was the most loving, understanding and selfless human being you would ever meet.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eva Ward of Ferndale, MI and her Brother Charles Ward of Old Lyme CT.
All of Nancy's five sons attended Dansville High School, two received Degrees from Michigan State University and went on to earn post graduate degrees from Michigan State University and East Carolina University. Nancy Volunteered at the Dansville Elementary school library for more than ten years and was very active in the Dansville United Methodist Church.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's name, to the Dansville Clothing and Food Bank, 1361 Mason St. Dansville, MI 48819 or the United States Marine Corps "Toys for Tots", 3305 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Lansing, MI 48911.
The family will greet visitors from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday, December 16 at Gorsline Runciman, Ball-Dunn Chapel at 621 S. Jefferson St. in Mason, MI and a Memorial service will be held at the Dansville United Methodist Church on Monday, December 17th at 11:00 AM
