He was born November 21, 1927, in Collbran, the fourth of four children born to Raldo Lorimor and Ruth Hanna (DuCray) Bloss.
As a young man he met and married Charline C. Griffin. They have enjoyed 63 years together. Max is survived by his wife, Charline; daughter, Bonnie (Chuck) Reid; sons, Tom (Christy) Bloss; Tim (Kim) Bloss, and Ted (Sue) Bloss; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
Max was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ione Ruth Fink, and brothers, James Allen Bloss and Richard Parley Bloss.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, at Callahan-Edfast. He will be laid to rest at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Hope West Hospice of Western Colorado, 3090 North 12th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506.
