Elgia Taylor Ogden, age 85, passed away Nov. 20, 2001 in Salt Lake City.

Born Dec. 24, 1915 in Harrisville, UT to Parley Pratt and Ozula Atkinson Taylor. Married William P. Ogden Dec. 23, 1936, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He passed away May 29, 1992.

She was a school teacher for several years in the Murray School District. Served in many positions in the LDS Church, her favorite being music. She loved Yellowstone and the outdoors.

Survived by daughter, Jolene Stemper, Ocala, FL; son, Russ (Brenda) Ogden, Salt Lake City. Three grandsons, Jeremy, Chris and Jason Ogden. Preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Special thanks to the doctors and staff at St. Marks Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Sat., 11 a.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., where friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Sat. one hour prior to service.
