For many years Mr. Hunt worked on the Associated lease in Kern river as a driller, where he had made many friends who learn with the deepest regret of his passing.
In 1912 Mr. Hunt was married to Miss Bessie Ashton, a well known girl and they made this their home until about six months ago when they moved to the Oklahoma fields. Besides the wife and two small sons, the deceased leaves a father, W.S. Hunt of Fellows, two sisters in Bakersfield, Mrs. E.G. Norris and Mrs. Earl Harris.
The pallbearers will be the life-long friends of the deceased; J.A. Jones, C.O. Sprague, Jerry P Shields, Leonard A Hansen, A.K. Carson and Frank E Adams.
