MUNCIE--Vicky L. Pipher, 50, of Muncie, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 4, 1956 in Muncie to Marion Edward and Ruth Ann Forehand Jessie.
Mrs. Pipher graduated from Muncie High School and received two degrees from Ball State University in Criminal Justice and Social Services.
For over eight years she worked as a QMRP in Anderson.
Survivors include her loving husband of 10 years, Sherman Cook; one son, Daniel Mansfield (wife: Ophelia) of New Albany; three daughters, Rebecca Jessie of Muncie, Nitisha Breese (husband: Todd) of Cowan, and Angelitte Gard (husband: Brad) of Union City; her granddaughter who she raised as her own, Telia Jessie; one brother, Steven Jessie of Muncie; two sisters, Diana Staker (husband: Ralph) of Muncie and Peggy Bodnar (companion: Shawn) of Muncie; 15 grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Robert Jessie.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dan Mangas officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Parson Mortuary and one hour prior to services on Monday.
