The funeral of the late Rev. Louis N Beaudry, who died last Sunday morning of pneumonia, took place at his late residence No. 643 West Harrison Street, at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

A large number of friends and George H Thomas of Post 5 GAR was present. The religious services were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Burns. The Rev. Mr Jackson read portions of the scriptures. The choir of the St. Paul Methodist Church sang. The Rev. Mr Traveller offered prayer, followed by the Rev. Dr. Edwards, who read selections from poems by the deceased.

Grand Army Post, No. 5, held services over the body. Prayer was offered by the Chaplain and the Army burial service was read by the commander of the post, after which the internment took place at Oak Woods Cemetery.

Louis N. Beaudry was 58 years old, and was born in Highgate, Vermont Aug 11, 1833. He was educated for the Catholic priesthood, but subsequently accepted the Protestant faith.
