Former Kearney resident, 62

AURORA, Colo. - Terrance Layne Allen, 62, of Aurora, formerly of Kearney, Neb., died Friday, June 7, 2013, at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora.

Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
All Veterans Funeral and Cremation of Wheat Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

He was born July 17, 1950, in Hallock, Minn., to Theodore and Judith Allen.

He married Teresa Evelyn Allen. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Shane Schafer of Aurora; grandchildren, Breanna, Audrey and Talby; sisters, aka "The Girls," Shayron Rundquist and Judy Iverson; and brother, Rick Olson.

He passed away with his daughter and son-in-law by his side.

He served three tours in Vietnam and was an Airborne Ranger. His strength, knowledge and sense of humor will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. His impact will live on forever.

He will be buried with his beloved wife of 38 years by his side. He also was preceded in death by his parents. .
