FRED ERMA FOSTER
Manzanita, Oregon - Fred Erma Foster , 78, of Manzanita, Ore., formerly of Yakima, died Tuesday in Oregon.
He was born March 28, 1903, in Russell, Iowa, and came came to Yakima in 1942. He was a mechanic and owned and operated Foster's Repair in Selah from 1942 through 1945. He then became an electrician. He moved to Manzanita from Yakima in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Lousie; five daughters, Betty goddard and Gladys Martin, both of Yakima, Doris Strawn of Parker, Dora Ann Panelo of Tacoma and Catherine Mae Maggard of Rio Linda, Clif.; two sons Robert Lee Foster of Clarkston and Richard Eugene Foster of San Franciso; 31 granchildren and numerous great-granchildren. A brother, Dennis Foster, died in 1979.
