Johnny Hodges, 58, passed away June 19. He lived in Evans County for most of his life and was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Reidsville. He enjoyed wrestling and Nascar.
Johnny was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Durrence and Margie
Durrence.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sylvia Hodges of Claxton; one brother, Henry (Annette) Hodges of Claxton; two sisters, Shirley (Gerald) Marshburn and Betty (Will) Baker, both of Claxton and Pat Wilson of Hamilton, Ala.; step-children, Pete Phillip, Felicia Cammack, Kristen Reed and Bobby Carl Duncan Jr; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, 12-2 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, Ga.
