Nancy Lowe Fraley was the daughter of Fountain Bird, Sr., and Judy Staton Lowe, and granddaughter of Nathaniel Brown and Rebecca Stanley Lowe, and Charles and Nancy Keesee Staton. On December 13, 1883, at her father's house, she married Stephen Louis Fraley, son of William H. "Bud" and Malinda Margaret McCoy Fraley, and brother of Susannah Millie Fraley Lowe, the wife of Nancy's brother Charles Brown Lowe. Their first child, Rebecca Jane Orbison Fraley was born on September 30, 1884, and died on September 26,1885, four days before her first birthday. Their other children were William Lawyer, Margaret Louise "Anna," and Stephen Lewis. At one time Nancy and Stephen Lewis lived on a boat near Greenup, Kentucky. Stephen Lewis died December 23, 1918. In the 1920 census Nancy was a widow living with her son Stephen Lewis, Jr., and daughter Anna at Mouth of Laurel, Lewis County, Kentucky, where her death certificate says she died.

Gravesite Details Louis and Nancy were among the first few graves on this cemetery, located across the creek from Laurel Point Cemetery on Route 59 about 6 miles south of Camp Dix.
