Virginia Beach - David "Choo" Crump, passed away quietly on December 17, 2012. He was born in Norfolk, VA, the son of the late Thomas D. and Nannie V. Crump. "Choo" proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was retired from the railroad and later retired from the City of Virginia Beach. All of his friends called him "Choo"because of his love for trains.
He is survived by his sister, Mary C. Arrowood of Va. Beach; brother, Thomas D. Crump of MD; significant other, Robin Doughtery; his four legged best friend, Hot Rod and other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 21, at 1 p.m. in Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association , 2263 Wolf Street, Virginia Beach, VA, 23454.
