Teresa Lynn Brooks, 53, of Montross went to be with the Lord and her son, Brandon, on Thursday, June 6, 2013.
Teresa was born May 14, 1960, in Fredericksburg. She spent the last nine years of her life in Montross, where she and her husband, David, moved to be near the river.
Teresa loved to feel the sun on her face and the breeze off the water. She also loved being around people. She was extremely loving and generous to everyone she came across. Time spent with her will be cherished.
She will be dearly missed by many, including her husband; daughter Katy; the Brooks and Chenault families; her "Stafford Girls"; and her Stratford Harbour family.
There will be no service at this time. The family requests that no flowers be sent to the home.
