William B. Urscheler, 77, of Litchfield, passed away Monday afternoon, May 22, 2006 at the Sayre House.

Bill, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, was born on Feb. 5, 1929 in West New York, New Jersey. He was one of ten children to the late Anton and Ida (Siebert) Urscheler.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. On March 24, 1972, he married Patricia Logan. For many years he owned and operated his own embroidery business. Bill enjoyed hunting, vegetable gardening and spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia, at home; daughters and son-in-law, Martha Urscheler of New Jersey, Elaine Urscheler of Jersey City, N.J., and Patricia and Thomas O'Brien of Duryea, Pa.; sons and daughter-in-law, William T. and Kathy Urscheler of Valrico, Fla., and Mark Urscheler of New Jersey; step-children, Mark and his wife Sue Porro of Wood Ridge, N.J., Eileen Porro of Ritchfield Park, N.J.; five sisters; nine grandchildren; and several nieces nephews and many friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend a period of visitation and sharing memories on Thursday, May 25, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Those who wish may kindly consider a memorial contribution to the Activities Fund at Sayre House, 1001 N. Elmer Ave., Sayre, Pa. 18840 in loving memory of William B. "Bill" Urscheler.
