Richard E. Clark, 81, of Albion, died on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Mr. Clark was born in Palastine, Indiana on September 3, 1931 to J. Sylvester and Fannie Mae (Warren) Clark. He lived most of his life in Warsaw, Indiana and came to live in Albion at Northridge Village Nursing Home 4 years ago.

He married N. Joyce Clark in Warsaw on August 17, 1951. She survives in Albion. Mr. Clark retired as a security guard from Daylight Screening in Warsaw, and also dabbled in heating and air conditioning.

He served our country in the United States Marine Corps, was an avid fisherman, reader and used to hunt morel mushrooms. At the nursing home, he enjoyed reading, playing games, such as bingo and he also used to bowl.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, N. Joyce Clark of Albion. One daughter and son in law, Mary and Joseph Seagrave of Delphi, Indiana. Three sons and one daughter in law, Dan and Linda Clark of Silver Lake, Jeffrey A. Clark and Richard L. Clark, both of Warsaw. Three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two brothers, Alden Clark and Robert Clark.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. Clark will be in Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel.

Visitation is from noon until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Northridge Village Nursing Home or to the Noble County Humane Shelter.
