TALLULAH (Special) — Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Boswell, 78, were held at 10 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating.

Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at the graveside.

Mr. Boswell died Saturday afternoon in Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss., after a long illness.

He was a member of the Madison Parish School Board for several years. He was former manager of the Tallulah Coca Cola Company, a member of the First Baptist Church and past master of the Masonic Lodge in Tallulah.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Thelma Boswell of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Mouck of Hopewell, Ga. and Mrs. Marguerite [sic Margaret] Sprague of Linwood, N.J.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
