Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at the graveside.
Mr. Boswell died Saturday afternoon in Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, Miss., after a long illness.
He was a member of the Madison Parish School Board for several years. He was former manager of the Tallulah Coca Cola Company, a member of the First Baptist Church and past master of the Masonic Lodge in Tallulah.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Thelma Boswell of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Mouck of Hopewell, Ga. and Mrs. Marguerite [sic Margaret] Sprague of Linwood, N.J.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
