James Lewis Hull was born at Prescott, Kan., Nov. 24, 1886, died at his home near Creighton, September 3, 1909, age 22 years, 10 months and 9 days.

When four years old, his parents moved to Cherry County, Neb. and in August 1904 came to Knox County, where he has since resided. On November 12, 1908, he was married to Miss Helen Docekal.

He was sick just one week exactly and was operated on for appendicitis, from which he never recovered.

He was a young man, who had a host of warm friends, who were pained to learn of his death. It seems sad to see a young man stricken down in the beginning of life with a wife and little one, who need his protection and care.

Besides the wife, Halen and little daughter, Hazel, born June 23, 1909, his father and mother and one sister survive him.

The funeral was held Sunday at 10 o'clock from the Millerboro church and burial made in the Millerboro cemetery.

The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved.
