SHREVEPORT, LA - Charles Rew Bell, 83, died Monday, May 29, 2000 at

Spring Lake Guest Care after a prolonged illness. Services will be conducted

on Thursday, June 1st at 11:30 a.m. in the Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel.

Officiating will be Rev. Edward Cooper of Life Tabernacle and assisting will

be Rev. Todd Foster. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Bell was born August 1, 1916 in Desoto Parish and was a long time resident

of Shreveport, LA. He was a lifetime member of Life Tabernacle Church.



Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents, A. L. Bell and Mary Josephine

Campell Bell and by his wife of 60 years, Lola Evelyn Wade Bell. He is

survived by two sons, Billy Rew Bell and Thomas Julian Bell and wife,

Judy Carter Bell; three grandchildren, Brenda Bell Zimmermann and husband,

James Edward Zimmermann of Mandeville, LA; Jana Bell Foster and husband,

Todd Austin Foster, and Julian Shane Bell and wife, Dana Smith Bell; three

great-grandchildren, Dailey Joy Foster, Thomas Jadyn Foster, and Madalyn

Marie Bell.



Serving as pallbearers will be G.B. "Bo" Blount, Cline Blount, Billy Carter,

Carroll Douglas Harvey, Billy Wayne Runyon and Henry Glen Wade.
