SHIRLAND - Ronald Norman Kuykendall, 75, of Shirland died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002. Born May 16, 1927, in Wheaton, the son of Harry Alexander Kuykendall and Mathilde Nachtigall. Lived the past 23 years in Shirland, coming from Roscoe. Ronald married Alietha Mae Christiansen in Wheaton on Nov. 15, 1948. He was a truck driver, employed by Freeman Shoe Co. for 23 years and Rockton Bus Co. for 10 years. U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife, Alietha sons, Robert Kuykendall of Shirland and William (Sandy) Kuykendall of Roscoe daughter, Katherine (Jerry) French of Roscoe. Six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, three brothers and a sister.
Service at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, in Hansen Funeral Home, 424 Prospect St., Beloit, Wis., with the Rev. William Feather of Community Bible Church officiating. Burial in Shirland Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, in the funeral home.
