BEVERLY FOSS, 75, of Starr Street, Narragansett, and North Palm Beach, Fla., a fundraiser and an activist with the League of Women Voters, died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach, Fla.

She was the wife of the late Karl Foss. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Ida (Freedman) Bolotow.

She was a 1946 graduate of Brown University. She later worked in New York for cartoonist Al Capp. She wrote and produced two radio programs at WDEM, a former Providence station.

Mrs. Foss was a volunteer and fundraiser for Brown University and Miriam Hospital. In the 1950s, she was a board member of the League of Women Voters and VIA. She chaired publicity committees for the Jewish Federation, and served as chairwoman for Israel Bonds from 1960 to 1970. She was a member of the Brandeis University Womens Committee in Florida.

She was a member of the Old Port Yacht Club, North Palm Beach, and the Narrow River Preservation Association in Rhode Island.

She leaves a son, Edward S. Foss of Lexington, Mass.; two daughters, Beth Reisman Wolfe of Chevy Chase, Md., and Paula Foss Golden of Providence; and six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was a sister of the late Herbert K. Bolotow.

The funeral service will be held tomorrow at noon in Temple Beth- El, 70 Orchard Ave., Providence. Burial will be in Sons of Israel & David Cemetery, Reservoir Avenue, Providence.
