Velma Lucille Warner, 89 of 1630 S. County Farm Rd., Warsaw, Indiana and formerly of Argos, Indiana died June 18, 2013 at 5:35 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor of Warsaw, Indiana following a lengthy illness.

She was born on October 8, 1923 in Winamac, Indiana to Samuel E. Heims and Della A. (Franks) Heims and had lived in the Argos community for over 73 years, coming from Winamac, Indiana.

On February 29, 1939 she married Harold D. Warner, who preceded her on May 4, 2013.

Velma was a Housewife/Homemaker and a member of Gospel Meeting House of Ora, Indiana.

Velma is survived by her Daughters – Pat West of Warsaw, Indiana; and April R. Warner
Grandchildren- Rick Rish of South Bend, Indiana; Lee Ellen Rish of Tunker, Indiana; and Elizabeth Clark and husband Alex of Warsaw, Indiana
Great-Grandchildren – Annabel Clark and Osiris Rish, Thaddeus Rish, Leonidas Rish
Sister-in-Law – Janet Heims of Plymouth, Indiana
She is preceded in Death by her Parents, Husband, Sisters – Vera Lichtwark and Adirene Heims, and Brothers – George, Ralph, Charley, Merlyn, and Rev. Verne Heims.

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday June 26, 2013 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos, Indiana.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 26, 2013 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Argos, Indiana with Rev. Don Franklin of the Gospel Meeting House in Ora, Indiana with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.
